U.S. Navy Medicine
This site was initially developed to inventory computer systems, software programs and licenses for over 300 hospitals and clinics through out the world. Once the inventory was complete, the site was enhanced with a database that allowed the facilities to order and track software purchases. This site was also used to provide product and licensing information. The initial implementation of site was so successful that its scope was expanded to include other products as an enterprise license tool.
