The Overseas Wireless Project was initiated with funding by Congress in 1998 in response to the Dar es Salam and Nairobi Embassy bombings. The program was responsible for designing radio based Emergency & Evacuation (E&E) Networks for over 300 American Posts and Embassies worldwide. The project included site surveys, host Nation approval of the radio frequencies needed, site design, installation, testing, and training. IP personnel provided critical communication upline to State Dept. Staff and Congress as well as out to the field. We designed and developed presentations, training aids, and a massive website.
